WINTER REGISTRATION

Opens on 10/25/2024 and will close on 11/8/2024.  

 

 

DOUGLAS COUNTY DISTRICT ATHLETIC REGISTRATION PROCESS

STEP 1: Physical Form - Students registering for Athletics must have a current physical examination on file in the Activities office before the student is authorized to participate in practice/tryouts. To ensure clearance for participation, physicals should be completed and uploaded into your family account on the registration site before the first day of practice/tryouts.

STEP 2: Online Registration Form - Fill out and submit the Online Registration Form before the start of the season. Please read through these forms carefully and be certain to complete and acknowledge each one where required. Once you have completed the form, be sure to hit SUBMIT.

 

STEP 3: MySchoolBucks Payment and Waiver Form - You will need to pay the activity fee online (credit card) through My School Bucks. The Douglas County School District requires an athletic fee for each sport/season of $200. 

 

Athletes will NOT be allowed to try out until all 3 steps are completed

 

 

 

Transfer Students: If the student has transferred from another school in the past 12 months, please see fill out the Transfer Student Questionnaire to beign the transfer process with CHSAA. Click here to be directed to the Google Form. 

 

 

Homeschooled, Online, Private or Charter Schools without a sport only

All students homeschooled, online, or enrolled in private or charter schools without a sport only who wish to participate in an CVHS athletic team MUST complete additional paperwork to register as a Castle View student for the purpose of extracurricular activities. You will not be able to pay the participation fee in My School Bucks for Castle View sports until this paperwork has been completed and processed by the CVHS Registrar. To begin the Line of Enrollment for Sports Only you will need to complete an OLR with the district and the google form on this website.

If you are interested in going out for interscholastic sports at Castle View High School, make sure you are familiar with the various programs offered and the procedures involved for registration and participation. 

 

CUT POLICY

Some sports will involve cutting students from a team. This is due to many factors, the most important being the safety and welfare of students. Other reasons are: limited numbers needed on a particular team, facilities and space availability, equipment limitations, lack of athletic ability, and individual coaching philosophies. 

 

Athletic Registration

Before the start of registration, have the following information available:

  • the sport(s) that your child will participate in
  • doctor and hospital contact information
  • emergency contact information
  • immunization, medicine and allergy information

 

First Time Users - Create an Account & Register

Note: If you previously created an account and want to add a sibling or new student, login to your family account. DO NOT create a separate account.

Create Family Account

  1. Fill out the registration form.
  2. Create a username and password for your family account on the checkout page.

Guidelines for returning users:

To register the same student:

  1. Login to your family account.
  2. Click the "Register" link (blue paper and pencil icon) and choose the “name of student” from its dropdown.
  3. On the next page, choose the “name of the student” from the student name dropdown. 
    Note: The form will auto-populate the answers based on your previously submitted registration. Please review and edit the answers if needed.
  4. Choose the activity/sport then continue and submit the registration.

 

To add a new student in your family account:

  1. Login to your family account.
  2. Click the "Register" link (blue paper and pencil icon) and choose "Register a New Student" from its dropdown. 
    Note: Fill out the form as a new registration.
  3. Choose the activity/sport then continue and submit the registration.
